India is having different states and each states have it's own specialty in festival,food,clothing,and many things. Each festival has it's own history,reason and way of celebration. Following are some example of best Indian festival

1 Diwali
Diwali is topmost famous festival in India. It is in October or November month of  every year. Diwali is symbol of happiness, lighting,gift,new cloth, many tasty dishes. Diwali is celebrate for 5 days as
1 Dhantroyadash- In this the women used to do Puja of animal as cow and this day is good for shopping
2 Narak chaturthi- People wake up early in morning for bath it is consider good for health, property in this day
3 Lakshmi pujan- Whole propery, lakshmai puja is done on lakshmipujan day. children celebrate by Phataka, new cloth, wishes
4 Balipratipada or pawada- on padawa day  wife do Aukshan of husband. Married girl is invited for special meal
5 Bhaubij- This indicate realtionship between brother and sister pray for long life and success of brother

2 Dashara/ Durga pujan-


Dashara is history that God ram kill ravan and won victory. Dashara is celebrate for 10 day goddess Ambika/durga devi's festival. It has garaba, Dandiya and so on. Ravan dhahan is done where statue of Ravan is burn. Dashara is also history that Pandav won war with Kaurava






3 Ganesh chaturthi-

Ganesh chaturthiis 8 days festival where god Gnaesha is workship. There are various types og Ganesha's statue.Most of Hindu people like god Ganesha. In India pune city is famous for Ganesh chaturthi. Every family bring god ganesh statue to home and pray for power to overcome all bad moment in life.There are many event occurs like Dhol-tasha,competition of rangoli,singing,drama.At the last day ganesh visarjan is done.







4 Holi-

Holi is symbol of happiness,various colors, joy. Indian people celebrate holi by spreading color. People gather  play color,sing , dance together. color maybe power or water color. It is victory of evil Holika and time to start good work by forgetting all bad memory. History of Holi is that God Krishna kill evil Holika and Dhrvadev also win over badness. These many colors give pleasant feeling all people are looks with makeup of color. Many people celebrate holi by drinking Bhang



5 Ramjaan
Ramjaan is Muslim festival where people keeps fast for a month and at last day they celebrate with Ramjaan. When moon look in sky on ramjaan days then people celebrate this festival. They wishes each other , invited for dinner, Have new cloths, pray by Nammaj. Special dinner menu is Shirkhurma, biryani, gulgule. It is ssume that Alla give chance to do good work
